Friday, September 14, 2007 11:45 am Niskayuna Branch Library -Community Room (Nott St. East across from the town hall) Clean Energy. County legislator Joseph Suhrada will present his "clean energy" proposal and Barbara Blanchard, City Council member, will present an update on city efforts
-planned and implemented- for green energy and energy saving measures instituted by the city at a meeting of the Environment Committee.

Wednesday, September 19, 2007 7-9 p.m. First Reformed Church, 8 N. Church Street, Schenectady, NY Immigration Panel: Federal Immigration Policy and Its Local Impact. The presenters will be Matthew Hobart, the Assistant Director of the New York Farm Bureau, Scott Decker a lawyer specializing in international practice and Moll Short, the Director of the Albany office of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.
